This website is a virtual marketplace to search and profile project opportunities as well as facilitate partner-matching for the UK – Switzerland Bilateral: Collaborative R&D call.

Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation, will work with the Innosuisse to invest up to £2 million in innovation projects.

The aim of this competition is to support UK-Swiss international business-led innovation collaboration. Through grant funding Innovate UK will support UK businesses to collaborate with Swiss counterparts (funded by Innosuisse) for their mutual global growth prospects. Your proposal must contribute to the development of commercial products, processes or technical services.

The project must have an obvious advantage and added value resulting from the cooperation between the participants, from the two jurisdictions. These advantages can include:

increased innovation capability
commercial leads
access to R&D infrastructure
new fields of application

This list is not meant to be exhaustive.

Your project’s total grant funding request must not exceed £400,000.

Focused Support Sessions

We encourage you to focus your meetings on the Innovate UK Support Days on 27 and 28 April 2023. This should allow time to help you meet and develop projects, and submit an application by the deadline of 26 July 2023. Innovate UK and Innovate UK EDGE will be available between 10:00 - 16:00 on these days. If you are unavailable during these times, it will be possible to schedule collaboration meetings at any time until the competition deadline.
